Echelon operates according to a World Health Organization (WHO) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) compliant Quality Management System (QMS) and as such our drivers and staff all receive regular and routine training. We call this training “The Echelon Process” and it includes driver pre/post-trip inspection reports, ensures drivers arrive to the shipper with a full tank of fuel, regular temperature monitoring, pictures upon loading/unloading, signed PODs sent upon delivery, and much more. Our office staff and drivers are all trained on the proper handling of airway bills, delivery orders, environmental containers & other packaging, dry ice and other DG. Our expert compliance team is well seasoned and welcomes any audit.
ECHELON VEHICLES


Echelon’s fleet is equipped with refrigeration unit, custom heating unit, and data logger and probe so that we can take care of your temperature-controlled shipments while providing real-time monitoring for GPS location, temperature, light, and humidity. All our equipment has been mapped, qualified and validated to safely and securely handle high value, temperature sensitive goods.
Within each vehicle, we hardwire the data logger and probe so that we can continuously monitor your shipment during our entire chain of custody. We utilize Geo-Fence technology to track arrival and departure times from your shipping facilities and to ensure adherence to predetermined routes. We can customize the notification intervals to suit your needs giving you real-time visibility into the safety and security of your shipment. We have the capability of setting alarms so that if, for example, the temperature goes out of range, driver deviates from his pre-determined route, or stops longer than prescribed for fueling, etc…the driver and dispatch are notified immediately. As soon as the driver crosses the consignee’s Geo-Fence a PDF temperature report is generated and sent to all parties involved.
